Navarro ISD Launches Golden Panther Card to Honor Senior Community Members

Navarro Independent School District (NISD) is thrilled to announce the launch of its new Golden Panther Card initiative, a special program designed to celebrate and connect with the district's cherished senior community members aged 60 and over. In collaboration with the Athletics and Fine Arts departments, this VIP (Very Important Panther) program expresses NISD's sincere appreciation for the ongoing support of its valued senior citizens.
The Golden Panther Card offers a lifetime of complimentary admission to all home athletics and fine arts events within the district. This one-time registration provides seniors with free access to all the exciting home games, performances, and exhibitions that Navarro ISD students compete at year round.
But the benefits don't stop there! Golden Panther Card holders will also receive a monthly digital newsletter, keeping them informed about upcoming events, important school bonds and elections, exciting engagement and volunteer opportunities, and much more. This initiative aims to ensure senior community members stay connected and up-to-date with everything happening within the vibrant school community.
"We recognize that our senior citizens are an invaluable part of our school's legacy," said Dr. Mandy Epley, Navarro ISD Superintendent. "Your presence, wisdom, and continued support keep our traditions alive and strong. You are the heart of our community, and we are deeply grateful for everything you contribute. We hope the Golden Panther Card will be a small token of our appreciation, allowing you to enjoy the many wonderful events our students work so hard to create. We look forward to seeing you at our games and performances!"
Navarro ISD encourages all eligible senior citizens (aged 60 and over) to register for their free Golden Panther Card and enjoy the many opportunities to connect with the school community. Seniors can click here to sign up for their card online to have their cards mailed, over the phone by calling 830.372.1930, or stop by any Navarro ISD campus or Central Office to pick up in person.
