Access to Library Materials
Navarro ISD is pleased to announce the upcoming launch of a new platform that will provide parents and guardians access to our library management system, Follett Destiny.
Through this portal, you will be able to view your student’s books currently checked-out as well as their check-out history from their campus library. Within the portal, parents may select materials their child may not be allowed to check-out or access outside the school library.
Please note that our system will be undergoing an update. Once the update is complete, we will send out detailed instructions on how to access the Follett Destiny portal.

The Library Materials Aquistion List is in accordance with SB 13 and Board Policy EFB(LOCAL).

In accordance with SB 13, a parent, a district employee, or a person residing in the district may submit a written challenge to any library material in the school library catalog or an appeal to the board of trustees of an action taken by the district in response to a received written challenge.
A board of trustees must act on a written challenge at the first open meeting held after the 90th day after receipt of a written challenge. The board must act on an appeal at the first open meeting held after the appeal is filed.
