The Navarro ISD Business Office is deeply committed to providing absolute transparency across all of its core fiscal operations, including accounting, accounts payable, budget management, business systems, cash management, purchasing, and payroll. To uphold this commitment, the office reports useful, timely, and precise accounting information regarding the District’s financial transactions. This meticulous reporting ensures that taxpayers, citizens, and administrators have the relevant data necessary to evaluate the managerial and organizational performance of the District. Because true transparency means opening the books to the public, Navarro ISD ensures that your taxpayer dollars are spent efficiently by making financial decisions in the open and on the record, allowing citizens to review policies, root out inefficiencies, and hold officials accountable.

To actively gauge and share the district's fiscal progress, Navarro ISD utilizes comprehensive spreadsheets, analytical graphs, and the annual Financial Integrity Rating System of Texas (FIRST) report issued by the Texas Education Agency (TEA). The district's website serves as a public ledger for these efforts, featuring extensive historical analyses to track transparency over time. This includes a five-year history of revenues and expenditures, a five-year history of tax rates, and multiple years of both adopted budgets and annual financial reports. The Business Office continues to actively expand its financial transparency website, consistently adding new resources to achieve its ultimate goal of absolute fiscal openness and accountability.
