Navarro Education Foundation

Clay Fest
We are thrilled to announce that our 4th Annual Navarro Education Foundation Clay Fest is October 18 held at Moyesway located at 12601 FM 20 in Kingsbury. Breakfast and registration starts at 8:30am. Lunch and awards will follow the shoot at Noon. Whether you live, work, or have patrons in our district, we would like to thank you for your continued support. The Navarro Education Foundation is asking you to be a sponsor and/or participant at our fall Clay Fest fundraiser. Your sponsorship is an investment to continue the quality education provided by Navarro ISD located in the triangle of Seguin, New Braunfels and San Marcos.
NEF is a non-profit 501(c)(3) tax-deductible entity that raises funds to provide supplementary programs for the students of NISD. Grants awarded to faculty and staff provide the ability to enrich and supplement classroom curriculums through programs and technology that go above and beyond the school district budget. In nineteen years, the Foundation has awarded over $798,000 in grants! All officers and directors of the Foundation are volunteers who freely give their time and expertise to benefit the district. The Foundation has no paid staff members.
Aim high and make a difference at NEF’s annual Clay Fest and support our Panthers in a fun, exhilarating way! Join us for an exciting 100-bird sporting clays event where teams will go head-to-head, all for a great cause. Every clay launched raises funds for grant opportunities that establish, support, and enhance educational opportunities for students across Navarro ISD. Whether you're a seasoned shooter or a first-timer, your participation helps build a brighter future for our growing community. Come on out and join the fun! We offer a variety of sponsorship opportunities for you to partner with us. The enclosed flyer describes these opportunities and what is included with each option.
NEF looks forward to partnering with you. Please do not hesitate to contact us at NavarroEducationFoundation@gmail.com, or by phone if you have any questions. We appreciate your support of education! Let’s bust some clays for educational grants!

About NEF
The Navarro Education Foundation was established in 2005 to assist and support educational programs in the Navarro Independent School District. The Board of Directors represents a diverse combination of community members, former students, educators, business leaders, and parents.
The objective of the NEF Board is simple: to raise funds through community activities and place those funds into the school district through a grant process. Teachers are encouraged to submit grant applications to enhance their classroom setting. Each year in the Fall, NISD Administration and NEF Board of Directors review each grant request to ensure that all applications are within the guidelines of NISD and NEF. It is a great moment each year to notify recipients of funding approval. All funds raised by NEF go directly into the classrooms of NISD for educational purposes. Since 2005, NEF has held several fundraising events, including Homecoming Tailgate Parties, brick drives, 5K runs, cookbook sales, Clay Fest and Duck Fest.
Due to the generous support of many, as of the Fall of 2024 the Navarro Education Foundation has funded over $797,000 in grants awarded to NISD classrooms. Through the years the list of grants has been very diverse, affecting literally every campus in the district.
The Navarro Education Foundation purpose is clear - the classrooms at NISD are being enhanced and enriched through its efforts. Our hope is to continue to transform NISD classrooms by providing the greatest opportunity for the kids of Navarro ISD to succeed in life through innovative teaching. This is made possible by you!
