Transportation
Summer school 2026 transportation requests are now open via the BusQuest or EZArrival bus app.
Transportation requests will open for the 2026-2027 school year for returning students, beginning July 1, 2026.
- You will need to request transportation services for each child through the BusQuest or EZArrival mobile app.
- To ensure your child has a bus route assigned for the first day of school please submit your request no later than Friday, July 31, 2026.
- Your child’s bus route information for 2026-2027 will be available through the BusQuest or EZArrival mobile app by Friday, August 14, 2026. Any bus route information visible before that is subject to change as we process incoming requests.
For students new to Navarro ISD, you will have to wait and submit your transportation requests after you have completed the new student open enrollment. Once new student enrollment has been completely processed at the campus, it can take up to 48 hours before you can create an account with transportation and submit your request.
If you have any questions or need assistance, please contact the transportation office. We will be glad to assist you.

Bus Service
How to Register For Transportation Services
Navarro ISD utilizes the EZRouting system which has two components; the online parent portal and a mobile app. You may select one or the other or both, but you do not need both. All families are strongly encouraged to download the app to receive notifications regarding bus route changes and when your child scans on and off the bus.
The company is transitioning away from the BusQuest App (currently in use) to EZArrival. The BusQuest mobile app will be supported until December 31, 2026. Families are encouraged to make the switch earlier to limit interruptions in services. Families who currently have the BusQuest app may download the new app and use their same login credentials. New families should download the EZArrival app and create a new account. Please click on the user guide below for more details.
Please note that your child(ren) must already be registered to attend school at Navarro ISD before you will be able to complete your account setup. Once registered at the campus it will take 24/48 hours before the information updates with the transportation department.
EZRouting Set Up/Registration
- Navarro ISD families must login to the EZRouting Parent Portal and request services for their child(ren) each year during the registration process.
- Families with multiple children must request services for each child individually.
- During the registration process it will ask you to select if your child(ren) will need transportation in the morning, afternoon, or both. Please choose accordingly.
- The email address and cell phone number listed on the account is how notifications from the Transportation Department are sent out (Examples: in the event of a mechanical delay, etc... ). Please make sure you list the email and number you check regularly in these steps.

Safety
The safety record of buses and drivers is outstanding in the Navarro School District. The school bus drivers undergo an extensive training program prior to getting behind the wheel of a school bus and refresher training every year. This training helps to ensure that riding a school bus is the safest way to get to school.
Laws for drivers sharing the road with school buses
- Follow school buses at a safe distance, keeping in mind that they make frequent stops.
- Stay alert for children around buses and remember that they may not always look for vehicles before crossing the street.
- Always stop for flashing red lights or a stop sign on a school bus regardless of which direction you’re headed, unless the bus is on the opposite roadway of a divided highway. Continue once the bus has moved, the flashing lights stop flashing, or the bus driver signals it’s okay to pass.
- Violations can lead to a fine of up to $1,250 for a first offense.
