Notice of Temporary Relocation for Board of Trustee Meetings

We want to notify our stakeholders of a temporary meeting location change this summer. Due to the Parking, Drives and Playgrounds bond project now underway at the intermediate and elementary campuses, we are relocating the following Board of Trustee Meetings to Navarro Junior High:

June 3 | Special Board Meeting @ 6:00pm | Junior High Library

June 16 | Regular Board Meeting @ 6:00pm | Junior High Cafeteria

July 21 | Regular Board Meeting @ 6:00pm | Junior High Cafeteria

August 11 | Regular Board Meeting @ 6:00pm | Junior High Cafeteria

Meetings will continue to be livestreamed on our YouTube channel @NavarroPantherEvents.

We are very excited to see continued progress of 2024 Bond projects. Moving the meetings to the Junior High will ensure more accessible parking accommodation for all our guests during this period. We are grateful for your understanding and continued support as we work to improve our facilities and prepare for growth.

Audience Participation is a routine part of the Board of Trustees meeting agenda, which provides citizens with an opportunity to share their views with the Board. Persons who wish to participate shall sign up with the presiding officer or designee before the meeting begins and indicate the topic about which they wish to speak.

Public Comment will be conducted at each Board meeting. Citizens may be provided five (5) minutes to comment. Delegations of more than three persons shall appoint one person to present their views before the Board.

When called upon to speak by the Board president, please step to the podium and give your name and address.

Public Comment is not intended to be an extended discussion or debate. Specific factual information or recitation of existing policy may be furnished in response to inquiries, but the Board shall not deliberate or decide regarding any subject that is not included on the agenda posted with notice of the meeting.

Comments related to grievances against District employees are not allowed. Those attending the meeting should keep in mind that it is a business meeting held in public, not a public meeting.
