Navarro High School Theatre Troupe Shines at Texas Thespians Festival, Earns National Qualifiers

GERONIMO, TX – November 19, 2025– The Navarro High School Theatre Troupe 5766 achieved remarkable success at the recent Texas Thespians Festival in Corpus Christi, securing National Qualifier status for multiple students and celebrating a Scholarship Finalist from a field of over 400 applicants statewide.
Senior Joshua Brucks was named a finalist for the prestigious Texas Thespians Scholarship. His final interview was held while at the festival this past weekend. Additionally, three students earned the coveted National Qualifier status, recognizing their top-scoring performances in their respective competitions:
- Joshua Brucks (Senior) – Contrasting Monologues
- Zoe Alexius (Junior) – Short Film
- Claire Martinez (Sophomore) – Solo Musical
The entire company of 12 students represented Navarro High School and Navarro ISD with distinction throughout the weekend, attending various workshops, participating in competitions, and demonstrating exceptional professionalism and Panther pride. Other dedicated members of the troupe included Karsen Ross, Alissa Hoyer, Maddeylin Perales, Aylin Aguirre, Sarah Shabbir, Sarah Mullan, Kaylee Sanchez, Omar Villazana, and Destiny Sandoval.
