Dr. Epley Elected to Region 20 Executive Regional Advisory Council

GERONIMO, TEXAS — June 3, 2026 — Navarro ISD is pleased to share that Superintendent Dr. Mandy Epley has been elected by her peers to serve as the At-Large representative on the Region 20 Executive Regional Advisory Council (RAC) of Superintendents for the 2026–2027 school year.
The purpose of the RAC is to serve in an advisory capacity to the Education Service Center and its Board of Directors, while also assisting in the thorough evaluation of the Center’s program and services. The Executive RAC undergoes an annual reorganization to fill vacant positions and establish leadership for the upcoming academic year. Following a region-wide election ballot sent to all ESC-20 superintendents, Dr. Epley was selected to fill the pivotal At-Large vacancy.
“I am honored to have been nominated and elected for this position,” said Dr. Epley. “I look forward to continuing to work with our neighboring district leaders and advocating for public education and all districts in our region.”
Dr. Epley joins a distinguished leadership team for the upcoming term. As part of the council's annual rotation, Comal ISD Superintendent John Chapman will transition from ExRAC Chair to serve as the ESC 20 representative for the Texas Education Agency (TEA) Commissioner’s Cabinet. Moving into the role of ExRAC Chair is Marion ISD Superintendent Don Beck, while Paige Meloni of Schertz-Cibolo-Universal City ISD (SCUCISD) has been elected by the committee to serve as Vice Chair.
Her election brings a distinct honor to Navarro ISD, ensuring the district’s voice is represented on this influential regional council.
