GERONIMO, TX — September 24, 2026 — Navarro ISD is proud to welcome the community to the inaugural varsity football game in the new Panther Stadium on Friday, September 25, as Navarro takes on Marble Falls.

Approved by voters in the 2024 Bond, the state-of-the-art athletics complex offers expanded opportunities for students across athletic, fine arts, and CTE programs. The stadium is designed to host football, soccer, track and field, and fine arts events. The broader complex also includes new baseball and softball fields, tennis courts, a golf practice range, home field house and spring sports/visitor amenities, and home and visitor concession stands as well as an integrated swag shop. Crucially, the new stadium nearly doubles the capacity of Erwin-Lee Stadium—expanding from 3,500 seats to a space that can seat 7,000 with grandstands and berms—preparing the district for future community growth and event hosting capabilities. 

"This Friday we open more than just a home field, we open a place of pride for our entire community, built right here in the heart of Geronimo," said Superintendent Epley. "Panther stadium stands as a testament to what we can achieve together. It is a space built for our students to grow, compete, and unlock new opportunities for generations to come."

The district extends special gratitude to the local community and key partners who brought the project from vision to reality. "On behalf of the Board of Trustees, thank you to our voters," said Board President Sartain. "Your support made this dream a reality, and we look forward to seeing our entire Panther Family in the stands under the lights."

Superintendent Epley added a special thanks to the teams behind the construction and design including Bartlett Cocke, LPA Architects, and AGCM for bringing this venue to life.

• Gates Open: 6:00 PM
• Kick Off: 7:00 PM
• Ticketing: Tickets are available for purchase online via Brushfire or with cash at the stadium ticket window.
• Home Parking & Entry: Designated HOME parking and the main home entrance are located on the west side of the stadium.
• Overflow Parking: Additional parking is available in the high school campus parking lots.
