Navarro ISD is immensely proud to have been awarded the prestigious Purple Star Designation by Governor Greg Abbott, reflecting our district-wide commitment to supporting military-connected students and their families. Established by the Texas Legislature through Senate Bill 1557, this honor recognizes schools that go above and beyond to ease the unique transitions and challenges of military life. Through dedicated campus military liaisons, tailored resources, peer transition support, and special celebrations like Veterans Day recognitions and Month of the Military Child "purple out" days, we are devoted to ensuring our military families feel valued, connected, and fully supported every step of the way.
