Facilities Reinvestment

The 2026 Bond proposes to further reinvest $5.4 million in total for roof and HVAC replacements to preserve the facilities long-term operational efficiency. This bond proposal outlines a strategic investment in the district’s infrastructure to support growth and maintain community assets in alignment with the Long-Range Facilities Master Plan.

These system upgrades coincide with a district-wide rebranding initiative from the 2024 Bond: the current Navarro Elementary and Annex will transition into the Navarro Early Childhood Center (Pre-K through 1st Grade) by August 2027, while Navarro Intermediate will be refreshed and rebranded as Navarro Elementary (2nd through 5th Grade) to ensure facility parity with the new Navarro South Elementary School. Reinvesting for the Future Navarro Early Childhood Center

  • Facility Reinvestment for Roof and HVAC at the future Navarro Early Childhood Center estimated at $4.1million
  • Facility Reinvestment for Roof and HVAC at the current Annex Building also becoming part of the future Navarro Early Childhood Center estimated at $1.3million

Future District Map

To manage our community’s growth projected at 250-350 students each year over the next 10 years, our district stakeholders can expect transitions throughout Navarro ISD from now until August 2027. New Navarro High School - Opened January 2026 New Navarro Junior High (Former High School) - Opening August 2026 Navarro Elementary will transition to Navarro Early Childhood Center (Pre-K - 1st) - Opening August 2027 Navarro Intermediate will transition to Navarro Elementary (2nd-5th) - Opening August 2027 New Navarro South Elementary (2nd-5th) - Opening August 2027
