Geronimo, TX – May 1, 2025 – Following her outstanding achievement at the Regional Visual Arts Scholastic Event (VASE), Navarro High School senior Kayley Thomas continued to showcase her talent at the State VASE competition held on April 26th at San Marcos High School. Kayley, who earned a Rating 4, the highest possible, for her Division 1 artwork at the state level, represented Navarro ISD with pride and dedication.

While the official results from the highly competitive state event have been released, Kayley's participation underscores the remarkable strength and growing prominence of Navarro ISD's fine arts program. Her journey to the state level, alongside fellow state qualifier Margaret Ann Kotzur, highlights the exceptional talent nurtured within the district's art department.

Mr. Ramon Parker, Director Fine Arts, expressed his continued pride in Kayley's accomplishment. "Kayley's dedication to her art is truly inspiring. Achieving a Rating 4 at the state level is a testament to her hard work, creativity, and willingness to push her artistic boundaries," Parker stated. "We are incredibly proud of her representation of Navarro ISD at the state competition."
