Navarro ISD Celebrates Four Female Athletes on National Signing Day

GERONIMO, TX – November 13, 2025 – Navarro High School is proud to announce that four of its outstanding female student-athletes have committed to continuing their academic and athletic careers at the collegiate level. Celebrating with family, coaches and friends on November 12, National Signing Day, this momentous occasion recognizes the hard work, dedication, and success of these young women, who represent three different sports and will compete for colleges across the nation.

Athlete Highlights
- Shelbi Stevens, daughter of Shane and Christine Stevens, will head to the University of Kansas to play softball. Stevens, who also plays for Hotshots National, was drawn to the Jayhawks by the "culture and environment of the university and softball program."
- Cadee Zimmer, daughter of Mike and Erin Zimmer, has committed to play softball close to home at Texas State University. Zimmer is a highly decorated athlete, including being named to the Softball America 2026 Hot Watch List and a two-time First Team All-District selection. "I love the school, love the coaches and I love my future teammates," Zimmer shared, adding her dream is "To play on the field that I have watched many games be played on since I was a little girl."
- Lilia Flo, daughter of Gregory and Amy Flo, will compete in Cross Country and Track and Field at Colorado State University Pueblo. A two-time State Qualifier in Cross Country and the School Record Holder for the 3200-meter run, Flo chose CSU-P for its strong program in her sport and degree. She is inspired to pursue Nursing by her grandmother, who developed Alzheimer's.
- Brooklyn Fox, daughter of Chad and Shaelyn Fox, will play volleyball for Dallas College at Eastfield campus. Fox was drawn to the Harvesters' successful program, hoping to continue their back-to-back championship streak. She plans to pursue Psychology with a focus on either veterans/military or sports psychology, stating, "I just want to give back to my community."
Navarro ISD Athletic Director, Coach Glenn Hill, emphasized the pride of the entire district, "This is a tremendous day for Navarro Athletics. To have four young women sign their National Letters of Intent, spanning three different sports, is a testament to their dedication, the support of their families, and the quality of our athletic programs. We are incredibly proud of Shelbi, Cadee, Lilia, and Brooklyn, and we look forward to watching them succeed at the next level."
Paige Poth, Girls Athletic Coordinator, highlighted the inspiring nature of their achievements, "These four athletes exemplify what it means to be a Navarro Panther—excellence in academics, leadership in competition, and commitment to their goals. They are role models for our younger students, showing them that with hard work, collegiate athletics is an achievable dream. We wish them all the very best as they embark on this exciting new chapter."
