We hope you are having a wonderful summer! As we prepare for the upcoming school year, we want to share an important reminder that Navarro ISD is transitioning from Ascender to Skyward for all student data, grading, and registration.

Please review the important dates and details below to ensure your student is ready for the first day of school.

• Week of July 20 – Skyward Account Setup Email: Parents and guardians will receive an email directly from Skyward containing your Skyward username, password, and login instructions.
  • For Returning Families: This email will be sent to the current email address you have on file in the Ascender Parent Portal.
  • For New Families: You will need to request a new Skyward Account (Link Available on the website July 20). After the request form is submitted, you will be sent an email with your username, password. and login information to complete registration.
• July 27 – Online Registration Opens: Online registration for both new and returning students will open in Skyward. All students must be registered through the new Skyward system to begin the school year.
• August 4, 5, and 6 – New Student In-Person Registration: All students new to Navarro ISD will be required to come in-person to complete registration and enrollment.
  • August 4 -  8:00am until 4:00pm
  • August 5 - 10:00am until 6:00pm 
  • August 6 -  8:00am until 4:00pm
  • Report to each child’s campus to verify residency. Click here for a list of required documents to bring.
  • Students in grades 6-12 will need to make an appointment with their campus counselor to make their course selections. 

How to Prepare Now

While you wait for your login email, we encourage you to get familiar with the new platform. We have set up a dedicated resource hub to make this transition as smooth as possible.
