Professional Development and resources that supports multimedia experiences for hybrid, flip classroom, or online digital/remote learning that keep educators, students, and families connected.

Microsoft Office Training Site
Free video clips of functions used in Microsoft Office programs. Use them for your own learning, to embed in your instruction, or allow students to use them as a resource or seek help with Microsoft Office programs. It has video tutorials for OneDrive, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, SharePoint, OneNote, Office 365, etc. As the district updates office, this is the best site for you to supplement or have your students learn the differences between the software version (2013/2016) of the adopted textbook and the district's current software version. This site also gives additional enrichment and real-world activities for activities and lesson plan ideas. This will help students practice their skills for the MOS test AND meet the business application TEKS of the course.

United Training-Software Training
(Requires registration fee) Offers virtual and in-person technology/software skills training at coop pricing that is not reflected on the website. Request for a session will need to be approved by the teacher's assigned region coordinator prior to session registration.
- NISD Ed Tech Professional Learning
- Educational Technology Department focuses on providing in-depth technology integration service, training, and support for instructional and academic purposes, specifically supporting the CTE's main mission in preparing all students for success in college, career, and community leadership. Ed Tech provides a variety of professional development opportunities for effective integration of educational technology via face-to-face training, webinars, self-paced online courses, one-on-one coaching, and campus and small group settings, just to name a few. National Research Center for Career and Technical Education (NRC)
The National Research Center for Career and Technical Education at the Southern Regional Education Board conducts research on career and technical education and brings it into classrooms. Focused on improving the quality of CTE in public high schools. The organizations share a commitment to helping schools engage students through career and technical studies, so students learn more and are ready for college, career and advanced training. Available resources include Math-in-CTE integration and much more.
- Discovery Education & Library Media Online Services Apps (Single Sign-On through Class Link App)
- Remember, Library Services has Apps that contain useful resources, like EBSCO with tools to improve skills, college admission exams and placement tests, and career options to build workplace skills. Great for HS educators and helps expand the school's resources and complements the curriculum. Teaching tools include flashcards, ebooks, videos, lesson plans, and student activities to support CTE and CCR.

The HB18 legislation was signed into law June 2015 to bolster the college and career advising available to students in middle school. The statewide initiative requires each school district to provide instruction to students in grade seven and eight in preparing for high school, college, and possible careers and continue to update in high school. NISD campuses may meet the HB18 requirement administering the following CCMR curriculum resources by grade Level:
