The Stargazers are the Navarro Junior High Dance Team that includes grades 6-8. Stargazers perform at sporting events, pep rallies, community events, and competitions throughout the year. To learn more about our junior high dance team, please see the information listed below.

Tryout Information

  • Clinic Days: Monday-Thursday, March 30-April 3, 2025 from 4:30-6:00 pm
  • Tryout Day: Friday, April 4, 2025 from 4:30-finished

Tryout Qualifications

• Must be a current 5^th-7^th grade student enrolled in Navarro ISD by the first day of the tryout clinic.
• Must attend one tryout meeting with a parent/legal guardian.
• Must attend all days of the tryout clinic in its entirety.
• May not be in ISS or DAEP at the time of the tryout clinic.
• Must be academically UIL eligible in order to attend the tryout clinic and the tryout day.
• Prior dance experience is suggested but not required.

Candidates will only need to attend one meeting to be eligible to try out for Stargazers. A parent or legal guardian must be in attendance. Requirement, financial and supply information will be discussed at the meeting.
